Join us on November 2nd to December 28th at the Greater Waterbury YMCA for the launch of our 2025 Middle School Summer League! Games will be held every Sunday at 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM.

About the Event
Join us on November 2nd to December 28th at the Greater Waterbury YMCA for the launch of our 2025 Middle School Summer League! Games will be held every Sunday at 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM. This league will feature:
10-week co-ed league (grades 6-8), featuring 6 teams and 5v5 play.
Guaranteed 8 games.
Coaches will be local mentors.
The Middle School League is a youth violence prevention initiative that uses basketball as a tool to engage middle school students in positive, character-building activities. The program will provide a comprehensive approach to violence prevention by combining physical activity, mentorship, and social-emotional learning (SEL). Through league participation, students will be exposed to lessons on conflict resolution, leadership, and teamwork, which are essential to curbing violence in school and community settings.
